About Naunehal Assembly
Hamdard Naunehal Assembly is a platform where children come together to learn, express themselves, and grow into confident, responsible individuals. It encourages positive awareness of the world around them and teaches them to communicate clearly, think logically, and lead with integrity.
Our Journey
- Bazm-e-Hamdard Naunehal (1985–1994): Young speakers aged 8–15 shared their thoughts on social, educational, and moral topics of the day.
- Naunehal Assembly (1995–Present): Evolved into a children’s parliament model, providing a structured platform for leadership, debate, and cultural activities.
Mission and Vision
- To empower children with confidence, articulate expression, and leadership skills through interactive learning and cultural activities.
- To create a generation of young individuals who are thoughtful, responsible, and capable of contributing positively to society.
Objectives
- Develop children’s public speaking and leadership skills
- Promote confidence, self-reliance, and discipline
- Foster awareness of social, educational, and moral values
- Encourage participation in debates, assemblies, and cultural activities



Founder: Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said (1920–1998)
‘Service to humanity is one of the noblest attributes a man can acquire’.
This principle motivated Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said to dedicate his life to education, medicine, and social welfare.

Early Life & Motivation: His father, Hakim Abdul Majeed, established Hamdard in Delhi in 1906 as a “waqf”. After partition, Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said moved to Pakistan with limited resources but immense enthusiasm to continue noble work, particularly in Eastern Medicine.

Hamdard Dawakhana & Foundation: In 1948, he established Hamdard Dawakhana in Karachi. By 1953, he made it a “waqf”, ensuring all profits were used for charitable, educational, and humanitarian activities under Hamdard Foundation Pakistan.

Vision: Through Naunehal Assembly, he inspired young minds to develop confidence, articulate expression, and a sense of responsibility from an early age.

Madam Sadia Rashid, as the current President of Hamdard Naunehal Assembly, carries forward the founder’s vision with dedication and excellence. Under her guidance:

She emphasizes cultural, educational, and moral development through structured assemblies and programs.
Her leadership ensures that the Assembly not only educates but also inspires children to contribute positively to society.
