Empowering Young Minds to Speak, Lead, and Shine
Hamdard Naunehal Assembly is a unique platform dedicated to nurturing confident, responsible and capable young minds. Through assemblies, debates, speeches, discussions, cultural activities and educational programmes, children are encouraged to express their ideas, develop leadership skills and understand their responsibilities as young citizens of Pakistan.
Like a children’s parliament, the Naunehal Assembly gives young learners an opportunity to speak, listen, participate and learn the values of discipline, responsibility, respect and constructive leadership.
Hamdard Naunehal Assembly
Established in 1985 under the visionary leadership of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said, the Hamdard Naunehal Assembly was founded on the belief that the future of Pakistan depends upon the proper nurturing and education of its children.
Guided by the inspiring words of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said, “Nurture the children, and Pakistan will flourish,” the Naunehal Assembly was envisioned as a platform where children could develop their intellectual, creative and co-curricular abilities while becoming conscious and responsible members of society.
Over the years, the Hamdard Naunehal Assembly has evolved into a dynamic forum for children, providing them with opportunities to learn, communicate, participate and lead. Regular activities and assemblies are organised in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Rawalpindi/Islamabad, bringing children together in an environment of learning, confidence and positive interaction.
The Assembly aims to ignite the potential of every child and inspire young people to contribute meaningfully towards a peaceful, healthy and progressive Pakistan.
Our Programmes
The Hamdard Naunehal Assembly conducts a range of educational, intellectual, cultural and awareness programmes designed to broaden children's knowledge and strengthen their character.
Seerat-un-Nabi (ﷺ) Conference
The Seerat-un-Nabi (ﷺ) Conference is an important programme of the Hamdard Naunehal Assembly, organised under the auspices of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, particularly during the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
The conference seeks to nurture in children a deep love and respect for Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and to help them understand the exemplary character, values and teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ).
Inspired by the lifelong devotion of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said to the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), the programme encourages children not only to learn about the blessed life of the Prophet (ﷺ), but also to reflect upon and practise his teachings in their daily lives.
Through speeches, discussions and educational activities, the conference seeks to inspire young participants to become individuals of good character, compassion, honesty, discipline and responsibility.
International Children’s Health Conference
The International Children’s Health Conference (ICHC) is another flagship programme conducted under the Hamdard Naunehal Assembly by Hamdard Foundation Pakistan.
For more than three decades, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan has marked World Health Day through the International Children’s Health Conference, reflecting its longstanding commitment to the health, education and well-being of children.
With the active support and leadership of Ms. Sadia Rashid, President, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, the conference provides children with an opportunity to learn about important health issues, interact with experts and develop greater awareness of healthy living.
The conference promotes the message that every child has the right to grow, learn and flourish in a healthy environment. It brings together young participants, educators, health professionals and other stakeholders to encourage a culture of health awareness and informed decision-making among children.

Through knowledge, dialogue, creativity, character-building and leadership opportunities, the Assembly seeks to empower children to speak with confidence, lead with responsibility and shine through their abilities.

Founder: Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said (1920–1998)
‘Service to humanity is one of the noblest attributes a man can acquire’.
This principle motivated Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said to dedicate his life to education, medicine, and social welfare.

Early Life & Motivation: His father, Hakim Abdul Majeed, established Hamdard in Delhi in 1906 as a “waqf”. After partition, Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said moved to Pakistan with limited resources but immense enthusiasm to continue noble work, particularly in Eastern Medicine.

Hamdard Dawakhana & Foundation: In 1948, he established Hamdard Dawakhana in Karachi. By 1953, he made it a “waqf”, ensuring all profits were used for charitable, educational, and humanitarian activities under Hamdard Foundation Pakistan.

Vision: Through Naunehal Assembly, he inspired young minds to develop confidence, articulate expression, and a sense of responsibility from an early age.
