Message of Founder
Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said
Pakistan is an invaluable gift of Allah Almighty to the Muslims of subcontinent. It is our foremost duty to love, build and protect this promised land from the bottom of our hearts and make our all-out efforts to carry this country to the heights of glory as desired by its founder Quaid-i-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
It is one of my main objectives to establish Hamdard in Karachi, Pakistan is to make it an institution of not only of health and medicine, but a fountain – like organization of philanthropy from which the waves of patriotism, service to people and reconstruction of Pakistan would originate and irrigate the foundations of Pakistan. My message to the people of Pakistan particularly to youths is “Love Pakistan --- Build Pakistan”.
I have a mission of spreading education in the country, for education is the master key of progress, and a clear vision about Hamdard, besides a benevolent organization, I am desirous of making Hamdard a reputed institution of research and scientific studies on herbal medicines and products to make them and the system of Eastern Medicine (Unani Medicine) to a successful treatment of modern day’s diseases.

Message of CEO / Executive Director
Farrukh Imdad
I firmly believe that the true purpose of an institution is reflected in the difference it makes in the lives of people and communities it serves. At Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, this belief is rooted in the lifelong vision of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said—to serve humanity through healthcare, education, knowledge, science, culture and compassion. His most ambitious expression of this vision was Madinat al-Hikmah—the City of Education, Science and Culture, conceived as a place where knowledge, research, healthcare and human development could come together for the advancement of society. Under the guidance of our Majlis-e-Nozama, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan continues to carry this mission forward, building upon this remarkable legacy while responding to the changing needs of Pakistan.
Healthcare remains one of our foremost commitments. Hamdard has played a longstanding role in the promotion, education, research and development of Eastern and Unani Medicine, while our free mobile dispensaries and community health initiatives have taken healthcare and medicines to underserved communities for decades. We provide health cards and assistance to deserving individuals, and our public-health programmes and awareness initiatives are increasingly connected with internationally recognised health priorities, including through our engagement with the World Health Organization (WHO) and our recognised observer status. Our social commitment extends to individual educational assistance, scholarships and support for deserving students; assistance to hospitals, NGOs and charitable organisations; and humanitarian programmes including ration and blanket distribution, emergency relief and other forms of assistance to vulnerable individuals and families.
Through these diverse programmes, Hamdard seeks to ensure that support reaches people with dignity—whether it is a child seeking education, a patient requiring healthcare, a family facing hardship, or a community affected by an emergency. Madinat al-Hikmah remains the embodiment of this integrated vision, bringing together education, science, healthcare and culture as instruments of national development. HFP objective is not simply to provide temporary relief, but wherever possible to create opportunity, dignity, resilience, knowledge and hope.
The vision of Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said continues to guide us: healthcare for those in need, education for those seeking knowledge, and a helping hand for those who need support. As we look towards the future, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan remains committed to strengthening and expanding its philanthropic work through responsible use of resources, meaningful partnerships, innovation and a continued focus on the needs of society.
Serving Humanity. Promoting Health. Advancing Knowledge. Empowering Communities. Building a Better Pakistan.
